New menu coming June 22
The highly anticipated roll-out of the new menu here at the Coffee Zone is less than a month away. June 22nd is the big day and we hope you'll be here to sample some of the new dishes.
Hours will remain basically the same with the addition of a Friday evening seating. We'll be open until 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Wish we could give you a peek at the new menu but June 22nd will be here before you know it.

It wasn't us
In a bold stroke of marketing and art, someone painted a 50 foot high mural of Coffee Zone owner Taisir Yanis on the side of building in downtown Jefferson City over the weekend. Owners of the building have offered a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. But it's not a very big reward so...

What the heck happend to the the Coffee Zone blog?!
The web monkey that takes care of this site for us (he's cheap, by the way) was messing around with another website and broke a bunch image links. He assures us he'll get things back to normal but it will take a few days. If you can't find something you're looking for in the meantime, let us know.

Hot coffee thwarts carjacking
Another customer ran up to the assailant and threw a cup of coffee in his face. The patron knocked the guy to the ground and held him there until police arrived. Sun-Times News Group
There's been some discussion of requiring a permit to carry concealed Rocket Fuel.
