Nobody drinks $1,000 of coffee in year! (Do they?)

Some of you saw our Tweet about the humongo gift certificate. The lucky recipient has received his gift and --as we feared-- started doing the math.

One $2.00 Rocket Fuel, 6 days a week = $12.00
One $1.00 refill, 6 days a week = $6.00
Multiplied by 52 weeks = $936.00 annually

"Saline County sheriff's deputies arrested a Marshall woman for assault late Friday, Dec. 18, after she allegedly struck another woman with a coffee mug, according to a sheriff's department report. Deputies were called to a rural Marshall residence about 10:43 p.m.

They found the victim, who had suffered three lacerations to her face that were described in the report as deep wounds. Witnesses reported that the victim and another woman were arguing when the alleged perpetrator threw coffee in the victim's face and then struck her several times while holding a coffee mug, which broke, causing the lacerations."
